Buhari urged to give NDDC Board more time

A political pressure group, Niger Delta Voice in All Progressives Congress, APC, NIDEVA, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari to give the current management of Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, more time to execute many of its development projects in the nine constituent states of the commission.

In a statement by Ambassador Sokari Afiesimama, National President and Daddy Gigi, National Leader, Security and Intelligence, NIDEVA, called on President Buhari to accept the recommendations of the pioneer leaders of the Niger Delta struggle that the present board be allowed to complete the numerous projects it has initiated.

NIDEVA frowned at the attempt by some failed political leaders in the region, who have brought nothing but disunity and inter ethnic bitterness and rivalry in the area to cause the dissolution of the board of the NDDC without any genuine reason and replace them with their cronies.
