Hoffenheim coach Markus Gisdol feels Brazil international Roberto Firmino is worth his €30 million price tag amid reports linking him with a move to Arsenal.
The 23-year-old has developed into Hoffenheim's undisputed star player in recent seasons, scoring 16 Bundesliga goals last term and netting six times in the German top flight so far this campaign.
Firmino has recently been linked with a transfer to Arsenal at the end of the season, yet Hoffenheim have no intention of letting go of the attacking midfielder on the cheap.
"In general, the transfer fees that are being paid are mental," Gisdol told Bild when asked about Firmino's €30m price tag.
"Events on the transfer market decide asking prices, though.
"And when you have a great player, you have to aim high and go for the fee that the market dictates."
Firmino, who made his Brazil debut in the 4-0 win over Turkey last November, has a contract with Hoffenheim until June 2017.
The creative midfielder previously wore the jersey of Figueirense before joining his current club in January 2011.
