Fans of Duro Olowu can finally get their hands on the Nigerian-born, London-based designer's pieces for as little as US$10 thanks, to his hotly anticipated collaboration with US retail giant JC Penney.
The capsule collection includes several styles of summer dress plus twin sets, pencil skirts, blouses and smart trousers. Featuring Olowu's trademark bright and bold prints, the range incorporates a mix and match of gingham, plaid, paisley, leaf and jacquard designs and is – says the man himself – "stylish, beautifully made and accessible".
Better still, nothing in the entire collection, which also features homewares and accessories, costs more than US$100. "Working with JC Penney has allowed me to merge my vision of style and quality with their affordability," says Olowu, who ARISE interviewed back in Issue 16.
