AN outreach partnership pro-gramme anchored by Reverend Samuel Akpan-Isong of Champions for Christ Chapel Asaba and Architect Oputa Ajie has brought succour to widows, less-privileged and victims of last year's flood in Aboh, Ndokwa east local government area of Delta State. Bags of rice and other food items including exercise books and writing materials were donated to the widows and school children including victims of last year's flood. Reverend Samuel Akpan-Isong told the gathering that "today, we are on the reach out partnership programme in Aboh. The Outreach partnership programme is an on-going thing. And we believe with the process of time it shall be extended to other areas of the State and beyond.
"Our intention is to bring succour to some disadvantaged persons in addition to the pulpit ministry towards creating a sense of hope for them. Many families were rendered homeless by the rampaging flood of the previous year. The federal and state government did marvelously well by supporting them. Our efforts is to compliment the gesture of this God sent leaders and that of some powerful individuals in finding meanings and answers to the questions of life", he added.
