How The On-Going Riot At The Federal Polytechnic Bida Started

A serious riot is currently going on at the federal polytechnic, Bida.. One of the students we contacted to know how the riot originated wrote this:

Some group of students, probably kegites from the school went for a function and came back late, when they got to d park, they told the driver to bring them to school, but the driver refused; that it was too late, the students forced him to bring them back, that led to misunderstanding between the students and the drivers in ETSU park.

This morning, some students went to ETSU park to settle the issue and some arguments broke out which resulted to fight, they stabbed Omooba, the presidential aspirant of SUG and that caused bigger issue,  some aspirants were stabbed like d welfare and  many students have been heavily injured, some fainted and 2 have been killed already...

Police came around to settle the issue, sprayed tear gas, but still not calming the situation....
