TURBANING: Over 10,000 Women Storm Igbere, Congratulate Kalu (photos)

Following the recent traditional title given to the former governor of Abia State, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu as ‘’Danbaiwan-Hausa’’ by the the Emir of Daura, Alhaji Umar Faruq in recognition of his efforts toward the development of Abia and Nigeria at large, over 10,000 Women today stormed Kalu’s Igbere country home, Camp Neya to Congratulate him.


NairaNaijaNews gathered that the women from Igbere and neighbouring villages estimated to be over 10,000 pledged support to the former governor who is aspiring to represent Abia North at the National Assembly. The women described Kalu as a philanthropist, kind and loving man who always remember the poor masses.

They equally assured Kalu that their PVCs are ready waiting for 2019 elections to come so that they will vote him in.

Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu while receiving the women in Igbere, said he will never disappoint them as he vowed to keep empowering the women, men, youths in the society.
