Photos: Two Injured, 546 People And 91 Houses Affected In The Aftermath Of Devastating Windstorm In Zamfara State

About ninety one houses, 546 persons affected and two people were injured in aftermath of the devastating windstorm that ravaged about eight communities in Maradun Local Government Area of Zamfara state.....

The incident which occurred in late September was reported to Nema Sokoto Operations office. An assessment team led by the agency’s head of operations, Mallam Suleiman Muhammad visited the affected places to ascertain the level of damages. Communities affected by the windstorm are Sara da Kanka, Kuka Tara, Layin Daji, Lungun Bugaje, Gumawa, Kofar Kyarawa, Tankin Ruwa and Kan Wuri in Marradun LGA.
