The Commissioner dropped the resignation letter on Monday afternoon and later issued a press statement announcing defection to the All Progressives Congress. Similarly, Hon. Giwa Rasheed, a Special Assistant to Governor Olusegun Mimiko, also resigned and defected to the APC.
