PDP chieftain, Bode George, has condemned calls by some Nigerians, for President Buhari to resign from office because of his ill health. George in an interview with pressmen in Lagos yesterday, described the call as inhumane. According to the former South West chairman of PDP, it is only the president and his managers who could determine if he is incapacitated and therefore should resign.

FG bans sale of cigarettes to anyone below 18, list places where smoking is prohibited
The Federal government has announced the ban on the sale of cigarettes to persons below the age of 18. Minister of Health, Isaac Adewole, made the announcement during a press briefing in Abuja as part of activities to mark the World No Tobacco Day, yesterday May 31st.

One Captain Chris Ndukwe Oshuoha has been killed by Sea pirates. Details surrounding his death are still sketchy, however, according to friends and family, he was reportedly captured by the pirates while on duty at sea and murdered.
